Information, guidance and advice for a wide range of health conditions

The following resources (websites, fact-sheets, videos, etc) are provided by a variety of organisations. Some are national organisations such as Diabetes UK but there are also local services provided or commissioned by the NHS, local authority, charity or voluntary organisations as well as a range of other resources by national and local providers.

www.nhs.uk also provides information, advice and guidance for hundreds of health conditions along with general health information.

A new service finder on NHS.uk allows healthcare professionals and patients to search for and find a pharmacy that offers free blood pressure checks. The tool explains who is eligible to go to a pharmacy to get their blood pressure checked and can be searched using a postcode, with the nearest pharmacy listed first.
