Where to go for Minor Injuries
GP surgeries do not provide a minor injuries service.
If you have a minor injury you should attend the Bideford Hospital Minor Injuries Unit which is open daily from 8am to 8pm (for urgent care Barnstaple Hospital has a 24/7 A&E Department).

Minor injuries include things like:

broken bones

wound infections
-
minor burns and scalds

minor head injuries

insect and animal bites
-
minor eye injuries

injuries to the back, shoulder and chest
North Devon Minor Injuries Waiting Times
North Devon District Hospital's Emergency Department (A&E) can be a busy place. If you have a minor injury or condition which you feel needs medical attention, but is not an emergency, it may be quicker to be seen at one of our Minor Injuries Units (MIU).
