The Financial Inclusion project is for those of state pension age and over living in 
Bideford.  1:1 support from our Financial Inclusion Worker, or trained
volunteer, who can offer info on benefits, support with completing application forms, info on debt management, help with grant applications for equipment.

Steady on your Feet Devon

Steady On Your Feet is a campaign led by the NHS and local authorities to help increase confidence and reduce the risk of falls. The advice, guidance and resources are designed for anyone worried about feeling unsteady on their feet. They aim to equip people with simple tips to stay active, independent and safe during everyday activities. Local classes also available.

Tea and IT

Every Thursday, 1.30pm to 2.30pm at Bideford Library.  An opportunity for older people to build their computer confidence in a small friendly group with the support of a Devon IT Champion.  Bring along your tablet, phone or device to receive advice and guidance. The Merryatrics

Project combatting loneliness and isolation in older people. Free of charge.  Activities include chair yoga, walks, quizzes, tv game shows and more.  Activities vary as led by what the group enjoys. Offers a chance to  improve your mental health and physical wellbeing, boost your confidence and self esteem, become involved in the community, make new friends and have fun! Activities take place twice a week.

Breathwork with Lara

Breathwork, meditation and deep rest - helping to improve mental wellbeing and social connection for over 70s in Torridge. Weekly from Weds 26/3/25, 4-5pm, Marlborough Court Lounge, Park Lane, Bideford, EX39 2QT.  Free of charge.
