Making sure that services provided by education, health and care  meet the needs of children with SEND and their families.

DiAS  (Devon Information, Advice and Support)

Supports parents and carers of children with and young people aged 0-25 with special education needs or disabilities, regarding health, social care and education.  Anyone can access it.  Talk directly to parents.

Charity in Devon supporting people with MH issues and hidden disabilities such as an autism spectrum condition. through online courses and workshops in things such as anxiety, depression, 
OCD, self harm, bereavement, anger management.

Unity Group

 

A social group for adults with disabilities. Arts and crafts, games, pool, video games. £10 pp
Wednesdays 10am-1pm Wings Hall, Lower Meddon Street.
Every third week they run an extended session where they run a no flashing lights disco, which is £5pp.

As a registered charity, Adventure Therapy exists to improve the emotional and physical wellbeing of children, young people and adults with unique health conditions, impairments or limitations through outdoor and adventure-led activities.Activities are either free and fully funded or subsidised and provided at the lowest cost possible.
