Adult patients previously on the shielded list will be sent letters centrally. These patients are expected to work from home – if this is not possible, they will use this central letter to enable them to claim Statutory Sick Pay.  Please DO NOT contact us to provide these letters – these will be sent out centrally from the Govt.

We have been asked to urgently review ALL children formerly on the shielding list – we undertook this work over the summer and those patients affected have been contacted directly by the Practice.

New groups of patients have been added to the CLINICALLY VULNERABLE PATIENT LIST:

​

1. Patients with stage 5 chronic kidney disease. Acute trusts and Renal units have been asked to identify and contact these patients.  Please DO NOT contact us as you will be contacted by your Acute Trust/Renal Unit

2. Patients with Down’s Syndrome.  We are arranging for all of these patients to have a call with their GP or as part of their Learning Disability review with the nurse (if due).  Letters will be sent to these patients early next week.
